Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my graphics card from a 5700XT to a 5060. The main reason is that I want to play Rainbow Six Siege at over 240 fps, as the 5700XT struggles to hit that mark. Plus, the noise and temperatures of my current card are really bothering me. Just curious to know if this upgrade is worth it, especially given my current CPU, which is a 5600X.

Here’s a link to compare the two GPUs. You might find that the specs don’t necessarily translate to what you’ll experience in-game, so do your homework! Plus, it's known that pairing AMD CPUs with AMD GPUs or Intel CPUs with NVIDIA GPUs tends to give the best performance.
Honestly, I’d suggest holding off on that upgrade. The performance boost you’ll get from the 5060 isn’t likely enough to justify the cost, especially since it’s priced high for just 8GB of VRAM. If you're looking for a more meaningful upgrade, maybe wait for the 16GB version of the 9060XT or consider the 7700XT, which has 12GB of VRAM and is pretty comparable to the 5060. Or, if you're really keen, take a look at the RX 9060 XT 16 GB instead.
A lot of people are saying the 5060 will be around 50% faster than the 5700XT on average, but you might want to look at specific benchmarks to see how it performs with your 5600X as well. Just a thought!
You probably won’t need the 5060 if you’re mainly playing R6. Your 5600X should be fine for that. Just make sure to check some benchmarks with your CPU before making a decision.
