Why Am I Getting Low FPS with My RTX 3060?

I've been experiencing low frame rates with my RTX 3060, even though it has 12GB of VRAM. Initially, I thought thermal throttling was the issue since the GPU temperature reached 85°C. After adjusting the fan settings with MSI Afterburner, I managed to bring the temps down to around 75-78°C. However, I'm still facing significant FPS drops in games like Elden Ring: Night Reign, The Finals, and even in Apex Legends where my FPS jumps from 20-30 at the start to 60-80. A few months ago, my performance was much better. Could this issue be related to my drivers? I'm currently using version 591.44 and have already checked my DLSS settings, switching between the 3D default and preset K without any improvement. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz, a Cooler Master 450W PSU, and an AOC 165Hz monitor.

Have you tried completely reinstalling your GPU drivers? That could help fix the low FPS problem you're dealing with.

Not yet, but that will be my last resort! I'll give it a shot and keep you posted.

I actually used DDU in safe mode to remove my old drivers and installed 581.57. I saw a slight increase in FPS, but it's still not enough for my setup. :/

Those temperatures seem a bit high for a 3060. Have you overclocked your GPU? That could definitely impact performance.

No, I haven't overclocked either my GPU or CPU at all.

I tracked my temps too and they're under 75°C now, but even after downgrading the drivers, the issues persist.
