I'm trying to build a gaming PC but I'm totally new to this and could use some guidance. I put together a build on PCPartPicker within my budget of $1200, but I have no idea if it's good or not. Here's the link to my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/y9jNGk. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just my honest opinion: instead of building a PC, consider an Xbox Series X with Game Pass. It'll save you a lot of hassle!
I found this good combo: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MbjBmL. It includes a 7600X, a solid 240mm AIO, and a decent motherboard with 16GB of 6000MHz RAM for $440. Plus, there's an open box deal on a Zotac 4070 Super!
The Intel processor you picked isn’t too bad, but I would recommend looking into an AM5 platform, specifically something with an X3D chip for better gaming performance. I’m currently using a 7700X, and it works great for my needs. Everything else in your build looks decent, though that AIO cooler might be a bit overkill for your setup.
Honestly, if you want my two cents, now might not be the best time to buy a gaming PC. Prices are pretty rough right now.
If you live near a Micro Center, I’d suggest grabbing a 7500X3D combo or a 7600X if it’s in stock, and then build from there.
Check out this alternative build that’s stronger for your budget: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BkLFTm. It might be a little tough to reach AM5 due to RAM prices, but this configuration should handle just about any game at 1440p for over 60 FPS without issues.
Thanks! But what specific parts make that build better?

Unfortunately, the nearest one is like 5 hours away.
