I came across a listing for 5 M.2 2280 SATA 3 SSDs, each with 256GB capacity, for $70. Given the current SSD pricing trends, is this a good deal or should I steer clear?

Yeah, I bought a similar setup back in 2015 for about the same price! This deal doesn’t sound great at all. Personally, I wouldn't go for it.

I recently got 5 SSDs, 512GB each, for about €100, which is way better. The price for those smaller 256GB drives should be under €15 each if you’re bulk buying. Honestly, $70 feels a bit high for this.

Honestly, you're looking at a SATA drive for that price? That's pretty steep. $70 seems outrageous for 256GB, especially when you can find better deals. I mean, you'd pay that kind of money for something much faster and with more space these days.
