Am I Taking Good Care of My iPhone Battery?

I recently got an iPhone 16 Pro Max that I bought 7-8 months ago. Right now, it has 97% maximum battery capacity after 282 charge cycles. Is this normal, or am I not taking care of my battery properly? I'm really worried since this is the first phone my dad bought for me, and I don't want to mess it up!

That battery life is totally normal! The first few charge cycles can drop the percentage more quickly, but after that, it stabilizes. You're doing great!

You're in a good spot! Just make sure your battery doesn’t drop below 15-20%, and you should be fine.

Okay!! Thank you!

Batteries naturally degrade over time, so don't worry too much! Anything above 80% capacity is generally considered normal. Just make sure to have "optimized battery charging" turned on, and try to avoid using "low battery mode" unless you really need it. Keeping an eye on battery health can become a bit of an obsession for some, but it’s usually not worth the stress!

Oh, thank you! You’re right, I’m kind of going a little crazy about this lol. Thanks a ton!

Just check the battery screen to see if it says everything is normal. That can help ease your worries!
