Struggling with iPad Battery Replacement – Need Advice

A few days ago, I posted about my iPad screen coming off. I'm facing a bit of trouble and all I've been getting in response is rudeness, which has been frustrating. I haven't dealt with a screen coming off before, so I'm reaching out for advice.

I'm also wondering how much it would cost to replace the battery in a 7th generation iPad. If anyone could help with that, I'd really appreciate it! Just a heads-up, I don't have the funds for repairs right now, so I'm looking for any helpful tips or guidance.

Replacing the battery on a 7th gen iPad without Apple Care+ typically costs around $99 USD, as long as the device isn't damaged other than the battery. If you do have Apple Care+, battery replacement should be free.

You can find more details about repair costs on Apple's official site. Just choose your device type to see info on pricing!

Thanks for the info! It's nice to finally get some helpful advice. I posted elsewhere and just got rude comments. I don’t think I have Apple Care because it was a gift, and they probably bought it from QVC. Is there any way they could just take out the battery for now, so I can wait until I can afford the repair?
