I'm considering upgrading my monitor that I use with my laptop equipped with an RTX 5060. Currently, I have a 24" 1080p 60Hz monitor. I'm planning to get a 27" monitor with 120Hz refresh rate. Given that the price difference isn't too significant, should I go for a 1440p monitor with DLSS or stick with a native 1080p? I primarily use my setup for programming and gaming.

For programming, a 1440p monitor makes reading and multitasking way more comfortable compared to 1080p. Definitely worth it!
Go with 1440p since it has 120Hz—this combination gives you a noticeable edge in gaming!
Definitely go for the 1440p. It's much better for both work and gaming, especially at that size and refresh rate. You'll love the clarity it provides!
I totally agree! I've tried both, and switching to 1440p made a huge difference for me.
If you're looking at a model with 8GB VRAM, I’d recommend sticking with 1080p. It might perform better for your uses, especially if you’re gaming.
Keep an eye out for sales on 1080p monitors, like the one I got from a link. It performs great and might be a good option!
I wish I could find such deals, but I'm not in the US.

But don’t forget, there are also 1080p monitors that support 120Hz!
