Earlier today, I had my water bottle in a bag with my laptop, and unfortunately, the cap wasn't tightened fully. Water spilled into the closed laptop through the vents. I attempted to turn it on a few times, and while the Apple logo appeared initially, the screen quickly went black again. The keyboard lit up a couple of times, but now it's just showing a black screen. Right now, I've laid the laptop sideways in front of a fan. Is there still hope for my MacBook, or should I take it to an Apple store right away?

Stop trying to power it on! Liquid inside a MacBook can create short circuits, and turning it on repeatedly can seriously damage the internals. Make sure it's powered off and don't charge it. You should take it to a repair shop ASAP for a professional inspection and cleaning, since quick action can really affect whether it’s salvageable.
I agree with the others, don’t try to turn it on again. In cases like this, early professional help is crucial.
Exactly! Just don’t panic. The best move is to leave it off and not turn it on again until it’s checked by a pro.
