Hey everyone! I'm on the lookout for a boot camp or course where I can get started with C++ as my first programming language before heading off to school. I'm particularly interested in free options since I'm just trying to ease into it. I believe having some foundational knowledge will help me with my upcoming studies. I've chosen C++ over Python because I feel like C++ offers a more challenging experience upfront, which might make the easier stuff feel even easier later on. Any suggestions for good resources or boot camps?

I noticed you said you're picking C++ because it’s harder than Python. What makes you think that's a good approach? I’m genuinely curious about your reasoning!
You might want to check out Codecademy or edX for some free resources. Just keep in mind that they’re not quite boot camp level, so adjust your expectations a bit. C++ can be pretty tough to start with, and I've seen some folks recommend starting with Python for a softer introduction. Just a thought!

I feel like if I tackle something harder first, then tackling easier stuff later will seem simpler in comparison.
