Hey everyone, I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 14 G2 and I've been stuck on the graphics driver version starting with 30 for a long time. I really want to update it to version 32, but the assistant keeps downgrading it back every time I try. I'm not sure what steps to take to successfully get the newer driver. Any advice?

You might want to try using the official Intel Driver and Support Assistant to check for updates. It can sometimes find a more suitable version for your system that would work better.
Unless you're experiencing issues, I'd say don't stress too much. The latest driver listed on Lenovo's support site is the same version you're currently using. It's possible that version 32.x just isn't compatible with your Thinkbook 14 G2. You can check that out here: [Lenovo Support](https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkbook-series/thinkbook-14-g2-itl/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Display%20and%20Video%20Graphics&id=635380F4-448F-4129-AA77-265289D96F6F)
I get that, but I’d really like to upgrade for gaming. One game I want to play requires a newer version and won't let me in.
Check out this tool: [TechPowerUp NVIDIA Clean Stall](https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-nvcleanstall/). It makes downloading the latest graphics drivers easy for your laptop. It's pretty straightforward, and there are YouTube tutorials if you need more guidance.
Thanks for the suggestion! Just curious, will this help with the downgrading issue I've been facing?

That's exactly what I've been doing without luck.
