Should I Choose Air Cooling or AIO for My i7 13000KF?

I'm using an i7 13000KF and I'm facing some stability issues that put my warranty at risk. The CPU gets quite hot while gaming, especially with titles like Battlefield 6. I'm considering either upgrading to a larger AIO cooler (like a 240mm) or switching to air cooling altogether. I don't need to run everything on max settings for gaming, but I want to maintain at least high settings with stable temperatures. Any advice would be appreciated!

I have a 13600KF, and I use a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140 cooler. My temps usually stay in the high 60s Celsius during heavy use. It’s definitely a reliable option if you're considering air cooling!

I've tested my setup with both a 240mm AIO and a Phantom Spirit 120, and both kept everything cool enough. If aesthetics aren't your main concern, the Phantom Spirit 120 might save you some bucks while still performing admirably!

First off, what cooler are you currently using? It might be worth checking if the high temperatures are due to voltage problems rather than cooling issues. Measuring the actual temps is essential. As for AIOs, a 240mm model is comparable to some top-tier air coolers like the Phantom Spirit. Both options should suffice for a 13700KF without pushing it to its limits under regular gaming scenarios. Remember, higher graphics settings don't necessarily mean that the CPU's temperature will skyrocket; it's more about the GPU's workload.
