I'm in a bit of a dilemma trying to decide between an RTX 5060Ti 16GB for a 1080p setup (on a 24-inch monitor) and stepping up to an RTX 5070 for a 1440p setup (which would be on a 27-inch monitor). While 1440p generally offers a better experience, my main concern is that I won't be upgrading my PC for a long time after building it. If I go for the 1440p monitor and the 5070, will I be able to play all the upcoming AAA games at high settings smoothly? I think that if I stick with the 1080p and the 5060Ti, I might have an easier time running future games without having to lower settings significantly, since 1080p has lesser demands. What do you think?

I'd definitely recommend going for the 1440p with the RTX 5070. Even if you face a bit of performance drop later on, features like DLSS 4 and 4.5 can help a lot.
