I have a 25mm PVC conduit that's already installed with a right-angled bend in it. I'm wondering if it's okay to run fiber optic cable through this setup, or do I need to have a gentler bend to avoid damaging the cable?

Just a heads up: for fiber optic cables, the usual guideline is that the bend radius while you're pulling it should be at least 20 times the diameter of the cable. After it's installed, the long-term bend shouldn't be less than 10 times. Also, remember that some cables vary, so definitely check the manufacturer’s guidelines for the specific cable you’re using.
Generally, most modern fiber optic cables can handle a decent amount of bending without any issues. Just make sure the bend radius in your setup is within the limits specified by the manufacturer. Check the cable's outer jacket for its bending specifications so you can confirm if you're good to go.
Avoid using a sharp 90-degree elbow for fiber! You should have gone for a curved sweep. And also keep in mind, the conduit should ideally be grey instead of white if you're planning for fiber use.
