Looking for Advice on My First PC Build for Gaming

I'm building my first PC and could use some guidance. My aim is to play games like Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Dying Light: The Beast. I'm not too concerned about 4K gaming; I just want smooth gameplay at 1080p and possibly 1440p.

The components I'm planning to use include an RTX 5060 graphics card, a Ryzen 7 5700X processor, a 650W 80 Plus Bronze power supply, an MSI Pro B550M-VC WiFi motherboard, and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition cooler. Currently, I have 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM and a 1TB Kingston NV3 hard drive. I'd appreciate any advice or tips! 🙂

I think you might want to reconsider the 5060. You could probably snag a used RTX 3080 for about the same price or even less, and it would perform way better. Just out of curiosity, what PSU are you thinking about using, and where are you located for pricing?

Thanks for the tip! I'm based in Mexico and was looking at the MSI MAG power supply. Do you think my overall build will dance well with that?

Definitely should work fine as long as you don't skimp on quality. Just make sure you get a PSU that can handle everything.

I think your CPU might struggle with that RTX 5060 for newer games. It's not the best pairing. Also, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 isn't really cutting it these days; there are better alternatives that won’t break the bank.

But honestly, the Ryzen 7 5700X can still hold its ground and shouldn't bottleneck too much with that graphics card.

It’s actually the PCIe 4.0 compatibility on the motherboard that’s more relevant here, not just the CPU. And about the cooler, while there are some good options, you're probably looking at around $20-$25 if you want a solid upgrade.
