I've been experiencing some frustrating performance issues with my gaming PC lately. Despite having what used to be a high-end setup, I'm finding that my frame rates have dropped significantly. For instance, even with all settings turned down for games like Arc Raiders and Rainbow Six Siege, I can't seem to get above 120fps, and during gameplay on low settings, I'm barely hitting 144fps. My specs include an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, a ROG STRIX X870-A GAMING WIFI motherboard, 32GB of RAM, and an RTX 3090. Can anyone offer advice on potential issues or solutions?

Your power supply might be a factor too; the RTX 3090 needs a good amount of juice. What power supply are you using?
I recommend running some benchmarks on your components and comparing the results to what others are getting. It can give you a clearer picture of any performance gaps.
First things first, what steps have you taken to troubleshoot the issue? Checking your temperatures, updating drivers, and trying different resolutions/settings can often help.
Yeah, make sure to keep an eye on those temps! Drivers are also super important, don’t forget to update them.
Have you enabled EXPO in your BIOS? That can really boost performance for RAM-heavy games.
I just enabled it and wow, it really made a difference! Thanks for the tip!

I have a Corsair RM850x 80 Plus Gold fully modular power supply.
