I'm having a problem with my Samsung A52s phone—it won't charge after using Apple USB-C earphones. The phone doesn't seem to detect the charger at all. What can I do to fix this?

It definitely sounds like there could be damage to the port itself.
I had a similar problem and was unsure what to do. But I heard leaving it plugged in for 40 minutes helped, and it actually worked for me! Give it a try.
You might want to try rebooting your phone first. If that doesn't work, try using a different charging cable. If you still have no luck, it’s possible that the USB-C port has an issue.
It didn't just go bad like that, though. It sounds like something may have broken it.

Yeah, it makes sense—this phone is already 5 years old after all!
