I'm trying to find a straightforward solution for communicating with my upstairs neighbors about whether our pets are outside in the backyard. Instead of texting each other constantly, I'd love to set up a simple webpage with a toggle button or switch that anyone with the link can use to indicate if their pet is outside or not. I have some coding experience and have built mobile apps before, but I'm looking for an easy browser-based option. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You might want to check out Google Sheets or a Google Document. They can be set up to share live updates, and anyone with the link can toggle things easily. Alternatively, using Home Assistant could also work.

True, but if you're looking for something super simple, perhaps IFTTT could be a good option too. It's user-friendly and integrates well for simple tasks.
