I'm trying to decide between a few storage options because my main SSD is almost full. I currently have a **1 TB Kingston Gen 4 NVMe SSD** which I use for my Windows OS, some games like CS2 and PUBG, and SQL tasks. I've also stored movies, TV series, and some data analysis tools on it, but now I'm running out of space. I'm considering the following extra storage options: a **1 TB Gen 3 NVMe SSD (brand new)**, a **2 TB 7200 RPM HDD**, or a **4 TB 5400 RPM Surveillance HDD**. What do you think is the best choice for my needs, which include data science tools, media storage, and some gaming?

Considering your needs, I'd recommend the **4TB HDD**. It'll give you plenty of space for all your media, though it's a bit slower than the 2TB option. If you plan to play newer games like GTA 6, they may run better on an SSD, so you might want to consider a smaller SSD for those types of games and use the HDD for the rest.
If your budget allows, the **1TB Gen3 NVMe SSD** is a solid choice. It's still fast enough for everything you're using it for and will be way quicker than an HDD. It’s a great balance of performance and capacity!
I’d lean towards getting the SSD because it's faster and more reliable, especially for your games and data tools. Just check prices first since they can vary a lot these days!
I suggest going with an HDD for your media files like movies and TV shows since they're great for that purpose. If your internet is fast, you can always download the games you play often, so a secondary NVMe SSD might actually be overkill!

That's really helpful! I definitely need something for the data science tools too, which is why I was thinking about more SSD space.
