I've been trying to install my Arctic Liquid III cooler, but I'm having a really tough time getting it to screw onto my motherboard. I've followed the instructions, and the brackets seem to be positioned correctly. However, whenever I try to fasten the cooler, it feels like one side just won't connect. It keeps lifting up and shifting away, and I've been at this for two hours! This is proving to be way more frustrating than the fans ever were. Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

It sounds like you might need to hold the cooler in place on the tricky side while you tighten it. Sometimes it takes a bit of muscle to get everything aligned just right. Don't give up!
Have you tried removing the bracket from the motherboard completely and then see if the screws go in without it? Sometimes it's easier to get a good fit that way.
You might want to loosen the motherboard brackets a bit for a better angle. Once you get the other screws started, you can tighten them back down.
