Should I Worry About Malware on This Flash Drive My Grandma Bought?

My grandma recently purchased a "Thephoto stick omni" after being overwhelmed by ads. I think it seems a bit scammy, but I'm really concerned that there might be malware involved, either on the device itself or in the app that it uses. She tends to believe her laptop is spying on her (which it isn't; she's a bit paranoid), and I'm debating whether I need to discuss online shopping safety with her again or if I'm just overreacting here.

It seems like she bought a pretty pricey flash drive! You might want to look into it further, but it’s not uncommon for these types of products to be a bit scammy. Just make sure she keeps her software updated and maybe run a malware scan just to be safe.

That's what I was thinking! I want to make sure she doesn't get into any trouble with this device.

If you’re concerned about malware, you could check the reviews of that product online. Sometimes, other users will mention if they experienced any issues. Also, having a good antivirus can help keep her laptop safe.
