What Happens If I Submit an Online Form with a Mistyped Email Address?

I'm wondering about what happens if I accidentally type a nonexistent email address while filling out an online form. I don't need the recipient to respond back to me; I just want to be sure that my form submission won't be blocked if there's a typo in my email. Can anyone clarify if a mistyped email would prevent my form from going through?

Most online forms will still go through even if the email you entered is invalid or doesn’t exist. The form usually just checks if the email format is correct, not whether the email actually exists. However, some forms may send a confirmation email, and if the address isn’t real, you won’t be able to confirm it later. So if you're not waiting for any follow-up emails, you should be fine!

That makes sense! So as long as the format is correct, it won't matter if the email is real or not? Thanks for clarifying!
