How Can I Install Linux on a 2019 MacBook Air?

I'm trying to install Linux on my 2019 Intel MacBook Air, but I'm running into issues. I've followed some YouTube tutorials, but they haven't worked for me. The laptop seems to be stuck in a boot loop, and there's no operating system installed, so I can't boot into anything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You need to check if your Mac's security settings allow booting from an external drive. Go to the recovery mode (hold Command + R while booting), open 'Startup Security Utility,' and make sure you enable booting from external media. After that, it should recognize the USB drive when you boot.

From what I know, the installation process usually involves holding down the Option key while booting up with a Linux USB stick plugged in. This should show you a boot menu where you can select the USB drive to install from. However, since you're facing security settings issues, that might be a hiccup you need to address first.
