Should I Choose the RTX 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT for My Next GPU?

I'm considering an upgrade for my GPU and I'm torn between two options: the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti WINDFORCE OC V2 16GB for about €889.90 and the GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16G 16GB for around €669. There's a €220 price difference. From what I've gathered, their raster performance is quite similar, often just a few percent apart depending on the game. However, the RTX has advantages in ray tracing and DLSS, while the RX offers better value if you're focused on FPS per euro spent. I'm curious if the additional cost for NVIDIA's DLSS 4 and Reflex 2 features are really worth it. What do you all think?

The 5070 Ti doesn’t have a big advantage in ray tracing; it performs only around 5% better than the RX 9070 XT in that area. If you care about performance per euro, the RX 9070 XT is the better buy.

Only a handful of games utilize full path tracing anyway, so don’t overthink it!

For performance and price, I'd say go with the RX 9070 XT. If you can save some cash, that’s a no-brainer! Just consider your future gaming needs too.

Exactly! And you could even get a better model of the 9070 XT or save the difference for other parts.

Honestly, for €220 more, I wouldn't go for the 5070 Ti. It might not be worth it unless ray tracing is your main focus.

Based on my research, if you love ray tracing, then NVIDIA is the way to go. But if you want solid performance for the price, you should definitely consider the 9070 XT.

Agreed! At the end of the day, it depends on what you prioritize in gaming.

If you need CUDA support for work, the 5070 Ti might be a better choice. But for pure gaming on a budget, the 9070 XT is a great option.
