I've been using Windows for several years and I'm looking to explore Linux without fully switching yet. I'm planning to create a bootable USB drive for Linux, and I have plenty of flash drives available. Currently, I'm using an HP Victus 15 fa2xxx, and I'm wondering which Linux distribution would be the best choice for a beginner like me. I would really appreciate your recommendations!

Almost any Ubuntu-based distribution is great for starting out. They usually have solid support, and you can keep using them without losing out on features. Just remember, it’s not all about Arch and Hyprland; you can do cool things with Gnome or other environments too!

Is there a Hyprland equivalent on Ubuntu or Debian-based distros?
