I've been using my PC for about 7 years now and just upgraded from a 2070 to a 5070 Ti. I thought the new 'Blackwell architecture' would lower my temps, but they seem to be about the same. I have the 5070 Ti with three fans compared to the two on my old card. Currently, my temperatures sit at about 40-45°C when idle and around 75°C during gaming at max settings (1440p). I've been told that 75°C is acceptable, but I wonder if my case could be improved for better cooling. I have an Antec P82 case, which has served me well, but I'm concerned about airflow due to the PSU shroud. I'm considering cases with better air intake like the Antec Flux Pro or the Li Lian 217. Any advice?

Your temps are totally fine! Idle around 45-48°C is pretty standard, and hitting 75°C under load is nothing to worry about. Unless you're seeing higher temps that are unsafe, your case is likely fine as is. If you feel like upgrading, choose a case based on your aesthetic preference—your temperatures will still be alright!
Honestly, your temperatures are perfectly acceptable. If you're not experiencing any thermal throttling or issues, there's no need to change anything. But if you're inclined to get a new case just for that vibe or look, go for it! Just ensure that the temps stay safe afterward, and you're good to go.
Gotcha, appreciate the feedback! I will stick with my current case for now 🙂
It sounds like you're overthinking the situation. Comparing temperatures from your previous GPU isn't really useful. As long as your GPU is staying around 75°C at peak, you're in the safe zone. A new case might be nice, but it's not necessary unless you really want one. It's all about what makes you happy!
