What’s the best PC build I can create for $1000 to achieve 200 FPS?

I'm on a budget of around $1000 and I'm aiming to build a PC that can consistently average at least 200 frames per second. I'm primarily interested in playing games like Valorant and CS2 at 1080p resolution. What components should I consider to hit that performance target while staying within my budget?

It really depends on the games you're targeting for that 200 FPS. With $1000, you might be able to hit that mark with some careful choices. For example, if you go for a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU and an RX 7600 GPU, that could get you there. You also might look into the Intel Arc B580 or RTX 5050. A solid 500GB NVMe SSD and 16GB of RAM would help, too. If you're open to buying used components, you might find some real deals!

You can check out these links for potential builds:
- AMD AM4 build: [Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hJkxrG)
- Intel 12th Gen build: [Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8cMjXf)
These will give you some solid starting points for your budget.

Here's a potentially strong build idea for 2026: consider the Ryzen 5 7600X or an i5-14400F paired with an RTX 5060 or RX 9060 XT (go for the 16GB version if you can). Aim for at least 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 650W Gold PSU. This setup should easily get you 200 FPS in esports titles. Just keep in mind that RAM prices can be high right now!

Good point about the 12600K being cheaper and slightly better than the 14400F—definitely worth considering! They perform similarly, so check out pricing to maximize your budget.

That's interesting! But I tried a setup like that and only managed about 41 FPS with low settings on some games. I'm curious about how you plan to reach the 200 FPS goal.
