Should I Upgrade My CPU or RAM First for Better Gaming FPS?

I'm trying to figure out the best upgrade for my gaming PC to improve FPS. Currently, I have an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, an MSI B450M-A PRO MAX II motherboard, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. I usually play games like Arc Raiders, Path of Exile 2, Last Epoch, and various MMORPGs and FPS games at 1080p. Right now, I average around 80 FPS on a 165 Hz monitor, and I want to push my FPS higher. Would it be better to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU or increase my RAM to 32GB first? Any insights or personal experiences would be super helpful!

Upgrading the CPU probably won't give you much of a boost in performance. The RAM upgrade might help if you're close to running out of memory while gaming, so it's good to check how much RAM your games use during play. Also, keep an eye on your GPU utilization in games, as that can affect performance too.

Looks like my GPU is about 75% utilized, sometimes dropping to 50%, while the CPU stays around 80%. Does that make a difference in what to upgrade?
