I'm looking for some advice on getting a PC for my friend's son who's 6, turning 7. The main game he'll be playing is Roblox, but we'd like it to handle some other games too. Can anyone recommend a reliable site for refurbished computers or suggest some suitable parts for building a PC? My friend was considering a specific PC model, but I'm not sure if it's the best option for a kid. For a 7-year-old, that pre-built PC might not be the best choice. Honestly, I would suggest getting a laptop instead. This way, you wouldn't have to buy extra things like a monitor and keyboard, which can add up. Just make sure to get a decent mouse since Roblox doesn’t need a super powerful GPU. An AMD processor with integrated graphics would be a solid pick. Aim for at least 8GB of RAM, but 16GB is even better!
I didn't think the bundle would be bad, but my friend did consider a laptop. She wants him to sit down with it since he keeps moving her laptop around the house while playing.
