Can Vibration from a Chainsaw Harm PC Components?

Hey everyone! I just bought some new case fans, and while I was bringing them home, I passed by some folks cutting tree branches with a chainsaw. I actually felt the sound and vibrations from it through the package in my hands. I'm wondering, could those vibrations potentially harm the fans or any other PC components?

Doubt it! Generally, the vibrations from something like a chainsaw aren’t going to damage your fans, especially if they're still in their packaging. Fans are pretty durable, so unless they were subjected to some serious shaking, they should be fine.

Honestly, this sounds a bit overblown. There’s no solid evidence that air-transmitted vibrations would cause any real damage to the fans. If they look okay, I’d just install them and see how they work!

LOL, I wouldn’t worry too much! The only thing that might explode is your imagination worrying about it. Just plug them in and enjoy cooler temps!

Yeah, this is a bit of a stretch. Unless you were actually dropping them or hitting them with something, they’re likely still good. Just do a quick check when you get home.
