We've been struggling with the logistics of shipping our PCs to remote employees. Relying on FedEx has become quite expensive and complicated, and we've had to pause our UPS account due to some fraud issues. We've tried using shipping boxes from a seller near Atlanta that operates on Amazon, but it still feels chaotic trying to transport computer towers safely. I'm curious if there are any alternative shipping methods we haven't considered. Additionally, if anyone has suggestions for shipping within Canada beyond Post or FedEx, that would be great. Thanks!

Laptops all the way for us! They’re just so much simpler to ship around.
Why not use laptops instead of towers? If you're shipping high-performance computers for development work, that might be one reason, but laptops are a lot easier to handle and ship.
We've mainly resorted to FedEx, and only occasionally use UPS. Our routine is to ship the PCs in their factory boxes right after setting them up and let users know to keep those boxes for returns.
We usually arrange for someone to pick up the equipment directly. It saves a lot of hassle with shipping companies, but it can be tricky depending on distances.
But how far do you send them? I can't imagine the company would cover a long trip just for pickups!

Definitely! We mostly use laptops for remote work because they’re convenient. But I get that some tasks need high-spec towers.
