I'm having trouble getting my ASUS Vivobook 16 (M1605YA) to recognize the Mediatek 7902 WiFi 6E chip after freshly installing Windows 11. Despite trying several solutions, I can't seem to get it to work. What can I do to fix this issue?

The driver is likely the culprit. If you're able to connect to WiFi with another device, that's the easiest way. Otherwise, you must download the appropriate driver onto a USB from another computer, since your Mediatek WiFi chip isn't showing at all in Device Manager.
What troubleshooting steps have you already taken? Is the WiFi adapter completely missing from Device Manager? If there are any unknown devices listed, that could be a sign that the necessary drivers are not installed. I recommend going to ASUS's support page for your model and downloading the WiFi adapter drivers. You can find them here: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-home/vivobook/asus-vivobook-16-oled-m1605/helpdesk_download?model2Name=M1605YA. After downloading, transfer the drivers to your laptop and install them.
It sounds like the driver for your WiFi adapter might be missing. If your laptop has WiFi access, try connecting to a network and let Windows search for updates. However, if you’re not connected, you’ll need to download the driver from another device and then use a USB drive to transfer it to your ASUS. Make sure you install it properly to get the adapter working.
