I have a 1080 Ti that's set up with a custom water cooling solution, but it doesn't use an all-in-one (AIO) setup, and it needs a new water block. It originally came from EKWB. I'm wondering if I really need to buy a new water block, and if I do, which one would be the best choice? Also, if it's cheaper or more effective to just add fans instead, how would I go about that and where can I purchase them? Thanks for any advice!

What do you currently have? Is it just the bare circuit board? If you can share some pictures on an image hosting site, it would really help to figure out what you need.
To swap out the water block on your 1080 Ti, you first need to identify the exact model you have. There are specific blocks that are compatible with different 1080 Ti models. If you're thinking about sticking with your current cooling setup, remember that you'll also need to have a pump, reservoir, radiator, tubing, and fittings to make it work. Honestly, depending on how much all that gear will cost, it might just be easier (and cheaper) to grab a solid air-cooled graphics card instead.

I just added a link to some pictures, thanks for the suggestion!
