How to Fix ‘iPad Unavailable’ Without Erasing It?

My kids accidentally kept entering the wrong passcode on our iPad, and now it shows 'iPad Unavailable'. I remember the passcode and my Apple ID password, so I'm hoping there's a way to unlock it without erasing everything. Is there any method to allow it to try again?

No way around it, unfortunately! Once it’s marked as unavailable, you’ll need to erase it to reset the passcode.

Unfortunately, if there's no countdown timer showing when you'll be able to try again, the only option is to restore it using a computer. That means you’ll likely have to erase the device to regain access.

Just to clarify, when it says 'Disabled' that’s one thing, but 'Unavailable' means it has to be erased. So, it looks like erasing is the only solution here.
