Hey everyone! I'm working on my HP laptop (model hp-15s eq1028nw) and noticed something concerning. While applying new thermal paste, I saw that the battery looks swollen. I'm worried about the potential danger this could pose, like if it might explode. I've kept it plugged in most of the time, except when I need to move it. Should I be concerned about this? Here's a photo of the battery: [https://imgur.com/a/DVx8dZX](https://imgur.com/a/DVx8dZX)

Absolutely, you should remove that battery right away! They’re pretty inexpensive to replace, check Amazon or eBay for good deals. By the way, you should be able to use your laptop without the battery as long as it’s plugged in.
Look, nobody wants a fire hazard in their house. A swollen battery can be risky! Remove it if your laptop can run on just the charger while waiting for a replacement.
Definitely a no-go. A swollen battery is bad news. Check the model number and order a replacement as soon as you can. It's not going to explode on its own, but it can get worse.
Yeah, that battery looks dangerous and likely dead. It’s starting to swell, which is a clear sign that it needs to be replaced ASAP.
If I see a bulge, I would be concerned too! Just stop using it for now and handle it safely. Dispose of it properly at a recycling center; don’t just toss it in the trash.
