Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. It's super late, and I'm exhausted, but my iPhone 17 just shut off on me out of nowhere. The last time I checked, it was around 30% charged, so I wasn't expecting this at all. There were no signs of lag or anything unusual—just a sudden black screen. I've tried holding the power button, but it's totally unresponsive. I've left it on the charger for over an hour, and I even attempted using a wireless charger for about 20 minutes, but nothing's working. The wireless charger blinks blue and then goes back to red, which is confusing me. I really rely on my phone for school and work, so any help would be appreciated!

When my iPhone 17 acts up like that, I've found that doing a hard reset can help. Try holding down both the side button and the volume down button for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Sometimes that gets it going again!
I had a similar issue with my iPhone 15 Pro. After installing the new update (26.3.1), my screen would randomly stop responding and the phone would shut off for no reason. Did you install that update too? It might be related!

Yeah, I updated mine around 6:00 AM, and it shut off at around midnight. How did you manage to get yours back on?
