My PC Won’t Boot into Windows—Need Assistance!

I recently set up my PC after not using it for a couple of years—since around 2022-2023. After moving, I reinstalled it and initially got into the BIOS settings. However, now it won't boot into Windows. I tried resetting the settings to default and made sure my boot drive was set as the primary boot device, but I'm still getting the error message: 'Reboot and Select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media in selected boot device and press a key.' Now, I can't even access the BIOS by spamming F2 anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your operating system on the drive might be corrupted, especially since SSDs can lose data if not powered for a long time. First off, disconnect all drives from your computer, including any hidden M.2 drives. Sometimes they can be hard to spot if a graphics card is blocking the view. After disconnecting, try to boot and see if you can enter the BIOS. If you can, you'll need to reinstall Windows from a USB drive to resolve the boot issue.

If you're not familiar with where the drives are located, I recommend checking your PC manual or looking up a video on how to access your specific model. Just be careful while handling the components to avoid any damage!
