I'm living in the outback of Australia where temperatures can hit up to 40°C (over 100°F), and my house has zero insulation. My room faces west and gets a lot of direct heat during the hottest part of the day. Currently, I have a gaming laptop, but I'm thinking about building a PC for gaming. The main concern is overheating—I'd hate for my computer to crash or suffer damage due to the heat. I like to play games like Stardew Valley and Minecraft, but I also enjoy more graphic-intensive titles like GTA and Assassin's Creed. I'm torn between building a bigger PC or going for a mini PC. What's the better option for handling heat in the long run? Also, which components should I focus on to ensure my build can withstand the heat while remaining low maintenance?

For your situation, I'd recommend using low-power, efficient components, like the Ryzen 9600X and the Radeon RX 9060 XT. They generate less heat and can cope better with warmer environments.
Consider an R5-9600X with a powerful air cooler or a 360mm AIO. A larger RTX 5060 Ti with a good cooling setup would also be beneficial. Just keep in mind that mini PCs tend to trap more heat since everything is packed tightly together.

Good tip! If you go with a 3-fan GPU version, it'll help maintain lower temperatures.
