Why Can’t GPT Create Normal Videos Like TikTok?

I'm curious about why GPT doesn't generate regular videos yet, like the ones I've been seeing on TikTok and Instagram. Recently, I watched a video of a woman sharing her experiences as a room service employee in a luxury hotel, and it seemed so convincing that I even bought into some crypto she mentioned. I really think OpenAI should have a feature for creating such videos! Am I just not using the right prompts, or is there somewhere else I can try making these? Just to clarify, I don't code or have a technical background.

Just so you know, generative AI like Sora or the image generation from GPT isn't really meant for making deepfakes. Those technologies are focused on different aspects of AI. Plus, deepfakes can be really harmful and are often associated with illegal activities, which is probably why OpenAI hasn't added that feature to their offerings.

Deepfakes involve taking an existing video and replacing the person's face with another using AI technology. If you want to create entirely new videos, you could check out OpenAI's Sora or Google's Veo 2. Just a heads up though, deepfakes can have negative connotations because they can be misused, so be cautious about expressing a desire to create them.

Honestly, I’m not sure what I just read either—it sounds like a bit of a mess! But yeah, I've seen those kinds of videos too. It's wild how convincing they can be.
