I recently reset my old computer by reinstalling Windows and removing the previous user account. However, two days after resetting, I've noticed that five Command Prompt windows open and close immediately when I turn on my computer. I'm worried since I don't have much technical knowledge. The only applications I've installed so far are Steam, Chrome, a Chrome extension, and a couple of wallpaper images. Is this something I should be concerned about?

It's not uncommon to have automatic start-up programs, and those Command Prompt windows might just be part of that. A good first step is to run Windows Defender to check for any potential issues.
If your antivirus isn't picking anything up, I recommend trying Autoruns from the Microsoft Sysinternals Suite. It provides a detailed view of all items that start with Windows, beyond what's visible in Task Manager, like services and scheduled tasks. It might help you identify what's triggering those Command Prompt windows.

I appreciate the suggestion! I don't really understand all of that yet, so I'll look for a tutorial on YouTube!
