I'm on the lookout for books or guides that I can read on the go, like while I'm on the bus or in places without access to a computer. I'm hoping to find resources that will really help me understand programming better. Any recommendations?

I actually think that reading books might not be the best way to learn programming. It just doesn't click for me. But I get that some people find value in it.

Totally agree with others about "Automate the Boring Stuff!" It's an excellent starting point for those new to coding. Plus, it's free and very practical!

You should definitely check out "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python" by Al Sweigart. It's great for beginners and is even available for free online! It gives hands-on practice too.

If you're looking for structured guidance, you might also want to check out teachyourselfcs.com. It's a cool resource for beginner programmers.
