I'm currently running a system with an RTX 2080 GPU, a Ryzen 3900X CPU, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 4TB NVMe SSD. I have a budget of $1000 and I'm considering upgrading to a 5700X CPU and a 9070XT GPU. Do you think this upgrade is worth it?

That's definitely a massive upgrade! You could also consider just getting the GPU first and then saving up for an AM4 X3D CPU later. Just make sure your power supply can handle the new components and check your monitor's compatibility too.
Upgrading from a 3900X to a 5700X will give you a noticeable performance boost. As for the GPU, I'd suggest going for at least the 9070XT instead of the 7080XT if you can. That's a solid upgrade path, especially if you plan on getting more value out of your setup.
Absolutely, the 9070XT is worth the extra effort, especially for gaming!
Between the 9070XT and the 5070 12GB, it really depends on what games you're playing and your setup. If you can save up a bit more, I'd personally lean toward the 9070XT for its performance.

Good point! Always better to upgrade in stages if you need to fit it into your budget.
