I recently upgraded to Windows 11 (25H2) from Windows 10 with a clean install and a BIOS update, but now my USB-connected KEF EGG speakers aren't being recognized. They used to work perfectly on the rear I/O, but now that's not the case. Occasionally, they show up when I plug them into a front USB 2.0 header, but they turn off after about a minute. I've adjusted the 'USB Selective Suspend' setting in the power options which stopped them from turning off, but I'd prefer to use them on a rear connection. Just to provide some details: my speakers are connected via a mini USB cable for DAC and control, and they don't have specific drivers, so they should be using standard USB class drivers. My motherboard is an ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-PLUS WiFi with BIOS version 3827, and I've tried using three different mini USB cables without any luck. Any help would be appreciated!

Just wondering, did you check if the speakers need power from a separate source? Sometimes USB devices have additional power requirements. If possible, try connecting them to a USB hub that's powered; it might help keep them stable and recognized properly.
I had a similar issue after upgrading. One tip is to try different USB ports on the rear I/O, as sometimes specific ports might behave differently even if they appear the same. Also, ensure no other USB devices are drawing power from the same bus since that might affect performance.
Have you made sure to download the correct drivers for your motherboard? Sometimes the generic drivers from Microsoft don't cut it. You can find the latest drivers on the ASUS support site for your TUF Gaming X670E-PLUS WiFi motherboard. I recommend downloading the Realtek Audio Driver and the AMD Chipset driver for Windows 11, as that might help get your speakers recognized again. After installing, don't forget to restart your PC and see if that resolves the issue.
