I'm currently gaming on a 3060 Ti and running a heavily modded Skyrim collection, which is pushing my card to its limits, especially with all the shaders and textures. I'm looking to upgrade and trying to decide between the 9070 XT, 7900 XT, or 7900 XTX. The prices for the 9070 XT and 7900 XT range from $650 to $750, while the 7900 XTX is around $900. I'm not too interested in frame generation or ray tracing, but I'm concerned that 8GB of VRAM won't be sufficient in a few years. I would appreciate any advice you have to help me make my decision!

For what it's worth, I also opted for the 7900 XTX because of the 24GB VRAM, but honestly, if you're just gaming casually or mostly playing Skyrim, the 9070 XT is probably your best option. It's a solid card with excellent performance!
I think the 9070 XT is the best pick here. It's only about 5% behind the 7900 XTX in terms of performance and offers much better upscaling, which is going to be essential as games evolve. You're focused on Skyrim now, but don't underestimate the importance of future-proofing your setup!
Definitely go for the 9070 XT. The 7900 XT doesn't really give you much benefit with its lower specs, and the XTX's extra VRAM isn't worth the extra money unless you specifically need it. If you can get a great deal on the 9070 XT, grab it!
All about that 9070 XT! The performance difference isn't massive, and the 24GB in the XTX really isn't necessary for most games right now. Stick with 9070 XT for the best bang for your buck!

I agree! The 9070 XT seems to offer the best balance of price and performance, especially if you're not leaning towards the additional VRAM of the XTX.
