Which GPU Should I Choose: Gigabyte Gaming OC 9070XT or Sapphire Pure?

I'm upgrading from a 1660 Super to a 9070XT and debating between getting the Gigabyte Gaming OC 9070XT or the Sapphire Pure, which is $20 pricier. If necessary, I could stretch my budget another $40 for the Nitro+, but I'm hesitant since I'm trying to keep costs down. Also, are 7 x 120mm fans sufficient for cooling?

Take a look at PCPartPicker to find the best-priced 9070XT. Any of them will perform similarly, but make sure not to choose those with the 12VHPWR connector for the Nitro or ASRock Taichi.

Make sure to compare the actual prices you're looking at. The Pure is usually a better GPU, but it can also be significantly pricier than the Gaming OC. Your fan setup sounds sufficient, but don’t overspend on them.

I'd go with the Sapphire Pure. The Nitro+ is out for me due to issues with that connector melting, which I've heard about. As for your cooling setup, 7 case fans should definitely keep things cool enough.

If you're serious about your upgrade, I suggest the Sapphire Pure. It comes down to reputation and looks. I don’t think $20 difference is too much for better quality.

I personally prefer the Gigabyte, and yes, your fan count should be plenty. You might not need the extra cooling with 7 fans!
