What’s the best gaming PC I can build or buy for $1500 CAD?

I'm considering putting together a gaming PC or buying a prebuilt one for around $1500 CAD, originally intended for a handheld surprise for my girlfriend's brother. He'll mainly be gaming at 1080p, but I'm not sure if this budget will let me find a setup that can handle AAA titles well. My previous rig was a Ryzen 5 5600X with a 3070 Ti, and it performed great, so I'm hoping to create something with similar or better performance. Any recommendations for parts or prebuilt options? Also, with the rise in RAM prices, I'm confused about where to start looking.

You might want to check out communities dedicated to building PCs, they'll have great suggestions! Also, if you're looking to build, here's a solid setup: Ryzen 5 5600, RX 9060 XT 16GB, 1TB Gen 4 NVMe, 16GB RAM, 650W PSU, B550 WiFi motherboard, and for a bit extra, a 24-inch 200Hz IPS 1080p gaming monitor—all for around 1600 CAD. Just make sure to adjust if he already has a monitor!

Thanks for the link! Looks promising. Is there a way to upgrade any parts for better performance?
