I'm looking for a way to install Microsoft Office that doesn't require an Internet connection. My wife's grandmother, who is 80 years old and lives on a farm, has always used MS Office for her accounting but now has a new laptop that requires online activation every month. She struggles to use hotspots, and I need a solution that allows her to use Office without these frequent online checks. I'd like something she's comfortable with, preferably a version she's familiar with, and it must work offline. Any suggestions?

What version of Office does she need? They sell the standalone Office 2024 that includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for about $200 in Canada. Just make sure it’s a version that can work offline!
You can still buy perpetual licenses for Microsoft Office that work offline. This way, she'll avoid the hassle of online activation altogether!

I think it’s ethical considering the situation. Microsoft has been kind of harsh with the online requirements lately.
