I'm not completely sure if I need to upgrade any of my gaming setup components. I suspect my RAM might be the issue, but I'd appreciate any advice you have. Here are my specs: CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600x (6-core at 4200MHz), GPU is an RX 6750 XFX, motherboard is a TUF x570 - PLUS WIFI, and I have 16GB of Crucial Ballistix RAM (2x8GB). Lately, I've noticed a bit of lag during gaming sessions. I have a CPU AIO cooler with three fans and three chassis fans, so overheating shouldn't be a problem. I can't upload screenshots of my specs if needed, but I can share any details you want in a message.

At this point, you might want to consider prioritizing your upgrades. If you're looking for a performance boost, upgrading the GPU first is one option, or you could start with the motherboard, RAM, and CPU before tackling the GPU. Just keep in mind that you might need to do a complete upgrade if you want a significant performance leap down the line.
To diagnose your lag, keep an eye on your CPU, GPU, and RAM usage during gaming. That’ll help you find out which component might be causing the bottleneck. If it seems like your RAM usage is maxing out at around 12GB while your CPU and GPU sit at 80-90%, you're probably on the right track.
Yeah, I monitor them with AMD software and they usually stay high during intense gameplay.
Your build looks well-balanced for gaming. 16GB RAM should usually be enough. Could you share the resolution and refresh rate of your monitor? That can impact performance too! Also, knowing which games are lagging and your power supply details can help narrow it down. Just to clarify, which country are you in?
My monitor is a 144Hz LG gaming model, and the lag happens notably in games like The Last of Us. I think my power supply is a 750W Corsair, and I'm located in the U.S.
That’s what I was thinking too! Should I go for a pre-built system to upgrade from there or just take it slow with gradual upgrades?
