I'm building my first PC since 2018, and I'm having trouble getting my 5060 TI GPU to lock into my Gigabyte AX V2 motherboard. I've pressed down really hard, but it doesn't seem to engage properly. I even took some pictures to show the issue. Any tips? Here's the link to the pictures: https://imgur.com/a/yi3aosz

Great that you posted pictures! One tip I have is to avoid installing the GPU before the motherboard is mounted in the case. The PCIe slot isn’t designed to support the weight of the card by itself, which can lead to connection issues or even breakage. Mount the motherboard first, then try installing the GPU again. Come back if you run into any more problems!

I was just following a guide that said to test it first. YouTube's Paul's Hardware recommended it, but I'm seeing mixed advice here.

It looks like the GPU isn't seated properly. Make sure you're pushing down evenly on both sides instead of just one edge at a time. Sometimes if one side is higher, it won't latch in correctly. Try to press down gently but firmly all around the base of the GPU.
