I've had my PC for about 2.5 years now, and it's starting to struggle with higher-end games. I'm looking for cost-effective upgrades or any tips that don't require new hardware. Here are my specs: I have a Powercolor Fighter AMD Radeon 6700 XT graphics card, an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 CPU, and Corsair 16GB LPX memory, among others. My gut feeling is that I'm facing a RAM throttle issue since I can handle the graphics but struggle with multiple processes or intensive games. I also can't use v-sync without significant frame drops. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your CPU might be a bottleneck, especially with those higher-end games. Make sure all your games are installed on the SSD and consider closing other apps while gaming. Upgrading to a better CPU and SSD would help a lot. SSDs shouldn't be too full either, so try to keep some space clear.

All my games are on the SSD, but thanks for the reminder to keep some space. I think I’ll start looking into upgrading the SSD first since that's more affordable!
