I recently upgraded my PC and ran a Cinebench test, but I only scored 856 points with my new Ryzen 7 9800X3D. This is puzzling because my previous CPU, the i9-9900K, scored around 700 points. Here are my new specs: Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x16GB 6400MHz DDR5 RAM (36 CL), and a Gigabyte X870E AORUS Pro motherboard. I didn't change my GPU; I'm still using an RTX 2080 Ti. Could there be something I'm missing? By the way, I played Arc Raiders and got a decent average of 70 FPS, which is an improvement from the 50 FPS I got with my old CPU on low settings.

Which version of Cinebench did you run? The 9800X3D really shines in multi-core tests like R23, R24, or R26, where it performs almost double that score. Running it on an older version might skew your results.
X3D chips don’t tend to perform well in benchmark tests like Cinebench. Honestly, focus on the frame rates and how your games are running instead. That's what really counts!
Your score does seem a bit low. Check if you have EXPO enabled for your RAM; that might help. It could be an issue beyond just that too, like thermal throttling or settings in the BIOS.

I ran version 24.
